马锋旺,男,山东汶上人。博士,教授(二级),博士生导师。1984年7月毕业于山东农业大学园艺系,获学士学位;1987年7月硕士研究生毕业于西北农业大学,获硕士学位;1996年获西北农业大学果树学博士学位。2001年2月至2002年2月和2002年7月至2002年9月在美国康乃尔大学合作研究。现任西北农林科技大学园艺学院院长,旱区作物逆境生物学国家重点实验室副主任兼资源创新与品种设计方向主任,西北农林科技大学延安市洛川苹果试验站首席专家,陕西省苹果重点实验室主任,兼任中国园艺学会苹果分会副理事长、陕西省园艺学会副理事长、陕西省果树品种审定委员会副主任、陕西省林木品种审定委员会委员、《园艺学报》(中、英文版)等期刊编委等学术职务。2002年被授予杨凌示范区十大杰出青年荣誉称号,2002年获教育部优秀青年教师资助计划,2005年获西北农林科技大学首批拔尖人才资助计划,2010年获政府特殊津贴,2016年获批陕西省三秦学者特聘教授。近年来主持国家自然科学基金重点和面上项目、国家苹果产业技术体系生物技术与抗性育种岗位等课题。

研究方向
果树逆境生物学,主要针对我国苹果主产区特别是西北黄土高原苹果生产中存在的干旱缺水等突出的逆境问题,开展苹果逆境生物学基础与应用研究。
重点内容
(1)苹果抗逆种质和基因的发掘;(2)抗逆生理和分子机理;(3)逆境下果实品质形成与调控;(4)抗逆种质创新与遗传育种;(5)旱区苹果肥水高效利用。
